Receive private postnatal visits in the comfort of your own home - these appointments can serve as one-time sessions to complement your NHS care, which unfortunately can often feel rushed and impersonal. These visits are conducted at your convenience and last as long as necessary, typically ranging from 1-2 hours. With the NHS offering less postnatal support these days, you might be discharged after just one night in the hospital, and wait a few days for a quick visit from a Community Midwife. That short visit might leave you with more questions than answers. That’s where I come in! Treat yourself or a new parent you care about to a one-off postnatal visit . I’ll spend at least an hour with you, and often longer if needed. Whether you’re dealing with breastfeeding challenges, need advice on keeping your baby’s temperature just right, safe sleeping tips, or checking for jaundice, we’ve got you covered. I ’ll also take a look at any stitches or wounds, offer guidance on pain relief and diet, and help you find the right balance of rest and activity as you recover.
